PowerSchool Parent Access

PowerSchool Parent Access accounts are automatically created for parents/guardians who are listed as both the Custodial Parent and the parent/guardian who the student lives with.
If this is your first time logging in, the username is the email address we have on file for the custodial guardian(s) of each student. This is usually the first parent or guardian listed during online registration or returning student check-in. To request your password:
- Navigate to the PowerSchool Parent Access.
- Click the “Forgot Username or Password?” link.
- Enter your email address in both the “Parent Username” and “Parent Email” fields.
- Check your email for your password and login instructions.

To access a student's report card, log in to PowerSchool* and click the Student Reports link for a printable report card.
Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) scores are also available under the Student Reports section.
*NOTE: Grades and test scores are only available in the browser (Safari, Chrome) version of PowerSchool. We recommend accessing PowerSchool from a desktop computer or tablet. Do not use the PS app when prompted on a smartphone.
If you have transferred your child out of CK Schools, you must request your child's records by contacting archives@ckschools.org.

GoGuardian Parent
Stay connected to your child’s digital learning! The GoGuardian Parent app helps you guide and support your child’s online activity on their school account. With it, you can:
- See their top apps, websites, and documents
- Review activity from the past 30 days
- Block certain sites after school hours (4:30 p.m.–6:30 a.m.)
- Pause internet access when it’s time to take a break
- View when teachers helped your child stay on track

GoGuardian Parent is a mobile app that you can download to either iOS or Android devices.
You can access GoGuardian Parent if you are the custodial parent/guardian. To set up GoGuardian Parent, use the same email address you would use to log into PowerSchool Parent Access. (If you have never used PowerSchool Parent Access, visit ps.cksd.wednet.edu/public to log in and check your contact information.)
If you don’t receive a confirmation email from GoGuardian (and have checked spam, junk, other, etc.), please contact your school’s office to verify the current email on record.

GoGuardian Parent settings that allow parents to block certain sites, “pause” the internet, or allow browsing on a set schedule are only applicable during out-of-school hours, Monday through Friday between 4:30 pm and 6:30 am.
In-school hours must be set districtwide for all students. These in-school hours include zero hour classes and before- and after-school programs and study halls.
During winter, spring, and summer breaks, we will turn off GoGuardian’s in-school hours. Student browsing will still be filtered, but teachers won’t be able to see student activity during breaks.

Generally, the system will send out a text and an email when your school posts information. Families can control when and how they receive this information.
- From Home, tap the Menu (triple bars) on the top-left.
- Select Account.
- Select Notifications.
- Use the toggle to turn on or off notifications by email, text and app.
- Select Instant or Digest for each mode.
On desktop:
- From Home, click your name at the top-right and select My Account.
- Select Notification Settings on the left.
- Choose your preferred Notification Settings for General Announcements & Messages (Off, Instant or Digest) and School Alerts (On or Off).

- Make sure your school has the correct student information, phone number, and email on file - contact your school
- Not a staff member or guardian? You can still sign up for email alerts here.
Check your phone/device settings
- VOIP (voice over IP) landlines will receive a text by default. If you want a call, you can designate your number as a landline when you register your ParentSquare account.
- Emails going to spam? Use these instructions to add ParentSquare to your email contacts!
- By default, we will text you, so if you only want to be contacted by phone/audio message, text "STOP" to 66458
- Text "START" to 66458 to re-opt into text alerts
- Add the number "360-662-1623" to your phone contacts
