About
Thanks to the Central Kitsap community, we built an addition on the north side of the building. The addition includes permanent classroom spaces, an auxiliary gym and a second music room. These additional spaces got students out of portables. We also upgraded athletic fields with synthetic turf installation and track renovation.

Why It Was Needed
Parents and community members said that they wanted us to stop using aging portables. Permanent classrooms replaced portables. Additional gym and music room space give more students access to gym and band areas. Drainage problems on the athletic fields made them difficult to use from late fall to early spring.
