Athletics & Activities
Your child has opportunities to join a wide range of school-sponsored activities. Many studies show that activities like sports and clubs can positively affect your child both inside and outside the classroom.
Research has linked participation in activities with higher grades and graduation rates. Students build skills, develop habits, make friends and gain mentors that can boost their self-esteem and help them say “no” to risky behaviors. Colleges also tend to prefer students who connect with school through outside activities.
Starting the 2023-24 school year 6th graders will be allowed to participate in all sports except Football.
