Learning Together Makes Everyone Stronger!

We are seeking Learning Buddies to join our early childhood learning community!

In our Early Childhood classrooms, we aim to have all students learn side by side—whether they need extra help or are developing right on track. If your child, without special needs, joins our classrooms, they will make friends, play, and discover new things with classmates who might learn a little differently. This amazing experience helps all children become kinder, better communicators, and natural helpers.

Does your 3- to 5-year-old seem to be hitting their milestones on schedule? They could be a perfect fit for our program! We call these spots “Learning Buddy" placements, and they're a wonderful way for your child to grow while helping their new friends shine too.

  • Early Childhood Intervention Services program (ECIS)
    • 4 days per week for half day sessions at one of our school sites with capacity to have a program. (They may be limited to either an AM or PM availability)
    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
      • AM session: 9:00-11:45; 2 years away from starting kindergarten
      • PM session: 12:40-3:20; 1 year away from starting kindergarten
  • Talk and Play (TAP)
    • 2 days per week for 2 hour sessions at Esquire Hills Elementary
      • Monday and Wednesday, 8:20-10:20 AM
      • Monday and Wednesday, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
      • Tuesday and Friday, 8:20-10:20 AM

  • Our Early Learning programs start September 15, 2025 and end on June 12, 2026. They follow the school district calendar throughout the remainder of the school year.

  • ECIS (4 days per week)

    • $250/month (September and June are reduced due to a shortened month- $175) OR
    • $1,175 / semester

    TAP (2 days per week)

    • $160/month; September and June are $100/month OR
    • $740 per semester

    • You and your family must live within CK School District boundaries
    • Your child must be age 3 to 5; students who turn 5 before August 31 are not eligible
    • You must be able to provide transportation

  • Complete our interest form and let us know your session preferences. We will notify families of space availability as soon as possible. When all openings are full, we will remove the option to apply. (This is a first-come, first-served opportunity.)
