This week we saw the failure of our levy measure. School support levies help us fund student supports (counseling, class sizes and offerings, transportation, and technology), safety, and special education. The levy also covers 100% of our afterschool sports and activities.
Moving forward, it’s important that we listen to and engage with our staff, families, and community members to better understand your perspectives and concerns. We’re hosting an interactive online conversation about this failed measure. You can share your thoughts and rate how much you agree with others’ thoughts.
We'll use what you tell us to talk with district leaders, answer questions, and provide options for our school board to consider. This process will be open until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, February 21.
