We avoided it for longer than we did last year, but winter weather is officially here!
As a reminder, our intent is to announce any changes to school or bus schedules by 6:00 a.m. We post an alert to our websites; communicate with families by phone, email, and text; and update our district social media accounts. Please contact your child’s school if you need to update your contact information. Depending on the situation, our options include: closing schools,
limited bus service, and a two-hour late start. (Note: breakfast is not served on late start days).
Based on the situation, preschool, out-of-district transportation, and after school student or community activities may be cancelled. We recognize that conditions can vary across our district. Please use your own judgement in determining whether it’s safe to send your child to school (or pick them up early) based on the conditions in your area. As a reminder, if you don’t hear from us, it means schools and buses are operating normally.
