Our current school support levy will expire soon, and the replacement measure on the February ballot is not passing. That means our school board could decide to place another measure on the April ballot. They will discuss options next week.
In compliance with state law, the board is seeking applications from citizens interested in being appointed to a committee to write the for/against statements for the Kitsap County Local Voters’ Pamphlet if there is a ballot measure in April.
If you are interested in serving on one of these committees, please complete this application. The application will close at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, February 21, to accommodate the county’s election timeline.
If the school board decides to place a measure on the April ballot, the board will act on these appointments during a meeting next week.
