Counter tops going in Ccottonwood Elementary's new entrance

With major bond projects wrapping up, we’re focusing more attention on our promises to make critical repairs at all schools. We’re also planning for construction in the second phase of Olympic High’s modernization and renovation of a portion of the old CK High.

Safety & Security

Counter tops go in at Cottonwood's new entrance

Status: At Cottonwood, crews are painting, installing counters and more in the new entryway. 

Next: We expect to open Cottonwood’s new entryway after winter break. Once open, it will complete all major secure entrance work.

Seabeck Elementary
 Demolition at Seabeck

Status: Demolition work at Seabeck Elementary is underway. 

Next: The old CKHS building will host drills for CK Fire & Rescue. Demolition begins this winter.

Klahowya Secondary

Status: Grandstand electrical and audio visual work is complete. Athletics sponsor Integrity Roofing & Construction awaits delivery of roofing material.

Next: Roofing work will possibly begin in December if roofing materials are delivered.

Olympic High (Phase 2)

Status: We’re reviewing design development documents and producing cost estimates.

Next: Project phasing options are under consideration.

CK Admin/Silverdale Library

Status: Detailed designs are being finalized. Renderings of library spaces have been created (see renderings of the library (pdf)).

Next: Architects are creating construction documents, which will be used to bid the project this winter.
