School Nurses

The School Health Consultants we work with are:

Vonnie Saucerman
Supervisor

Vonnie graduated from nursing school in 1978 and has worked in Iowa, Nebraska, Arizona and Washington.  She has experience in the areas of Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care, Emergency Department, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, Managed Care and Legal Nurse Consulting. She has been a school nurse for CK since 1999.

Soni Riley
Serves PineCrest, Woodlands, Esquire Hills, Emerald Heights and Off-Campus

Soni joined School Health Consultants in 2010.  She brings experience in medical/surgical nursing, community health and mother/baby care.  

Sarah Lewis
Serves Olympic High School, Fairview Middle School and East Alt

Sarah earned her BSN degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 1984.  She worked for many years as an ICU nurse and a Transplant Nurse Coordinator.  She joined School Health Consultants in 2011.

Marion Gutierrez
Serves CK Middle School, Klahowya, New Frontiers

Marion attended nursing school in Virginia and has worked as a nurse in Virginia and Hawaii in the newborn nursery and pediatric departments.  She has worked since 1992 in Bremerton at the Naval Hospital on the mother/baby unit.  Marion joined School Health Consultants in 2013.

Amy Dyer 
Serves Silverdale Elementary, Green Mountain, Cougar Valley and Cottonwood

Amy graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a BSN in 2005.  She has worked in medical surgical, community health and new parent education. Amy joined School Health Consultants in 2015.

 
Sara Leshley
Serves CK High, Ridgetop Middle School, West Alt High, and Silver Ridge

Sara earned a BSN degree from Seattle Pacific University.  She has worked in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital in Seattle and also in Virginia. For many years she was a nurse educator in this school District as well as at Harrison Hospital. She joined School Health Consultants in 2014. 

 
Jocelyn Hanson
Serves Brownsville, Clear Creek and Hawk

Jocelyn graduated with her BSN from Gonzaga University in 2010.  She moved to Gig Harbor after graduating and spent time working in medically intensive Home Health and a medical/pediatric clinic.  She enjoys photography, doing crafts and spending time with her husband and two children.  She joined School Health Consultants in 2014.

 
Diane Reichel
Secretary

Diane began working for the CK district in 2000 as a library clerk at Klahowya Secondary School.  She began her position as Health Services Department Secretary in 2004.  Diane received her BS in business administration from Central Washington University.
