Your child can take online classes as an alternative to learning in a traditional classroom setting. Your child can attend a full school day free. The program allows your child to work one-on-one with a teacher online. Our partners Apex Learning and K12 provide high-quality curriculum.
We are proud to offer a K–8 online program to students in the region. K12 Online Public School supplies the curriculum, but the support is pure Central Kitsap.

Students who are eligible for high school credit and live in our attendance area can take our Online Academy classes. Our teachers instruct classes, so you can meet them face-to-face. Space is limited to 30 students. We give priority to full-time students. Classes are available online 24/7.
Our online students must meet for one hour each week with an instructor. They meet at Alternative High, near Central Kitsap High School,10120 Frontier Place NW, Silverdale. You must provide your own transportation. Each month, students and parents can attend progress meetings.
Is it right for you?
Online classes are an excellent option for students who can’t attend school on a daily basis. It’s best for students who can take charge of their learning, stay on task online and manage their time well. We expect students to log in daily and complete work each week.
To help you decide if it’s right for you, take the self-assessment.
