Central Kitsap Schools now offers online registration for new and returning students! This is part of our effort to move forms online and streamline processes at our schools.

Returning Student Registration

It’s easier than ever to get your child ready for next fall! Parents will receive an email on August 1 with instructions “check-in” your student for next year. This replaces forms filled out at the beginning of the school year, such as:

  • Confirm your student is returning next year
  • Update your student’s information
  • Sign annual forms and agreements

Here’s how it works:

  • If your student is entering 7th through 12 grade…
    • …you’ll get an email on August 1 with a special link to access your child’s check-in forms in PowerSchool.
  • If your student is entering kindergarten through 6th grade…
    • …you’ll get an email on August 1 with instructions to create an Online Registration Account. The email will include a unique “Snapcode” that links directly to your student’s information for you to review.
  • If you have multiple students in CK schools…
    • Complete check-in for each student, one at a time! If you have students in both elementary and middle/high school, you will need to create one Online Registration account for K-6th graders in addition to the PowerSchool account you use with older children.

What’s in it for you?

  • Fewer paper permission forms to sign at the beginning of the year
  • Easily copy family information across other members of your family
  • Review and update your contact information

What’s in it for us? Less time on data entry and more time to provide exceptional services to your family!

FAQs for Returning Student Registration

Here are the answers to the most common questions we've received from families. If you still need help, contact your child's school.

Where’s my email?

There are a few reasons families didn’t get emails:

  • Some email providers consider the email “junk.”

    • Search your email inbox and junk folder for an email from “

  • We don’t have an email address on file for a student’s primary guardians (see next Q&A)

    • Contact the school to update your email and we’ll resend the message.

  • We have the incorrect email address on file

    • Typos happen! Or, we may have an email address that you no longer use. Contact the school to update your email and we’ll resend the message.

Why did I get one email, but not the Aug. 1 email?

Our first email in July was sent to all emergency contacts associated with a student. The August 1st email was sent to the primary guardian of the student. In some cases, those emails didn’t match up, or we didn’t have a guardian email on file. Contact the school to provide an email for your child’s primary guardian, and we’ll send the message right away.

Why can’t I submit the form?

In addition to the required fields, the telephone number fields are very sensitive and must include dashes after the area code and first three digits: XXX-XXX-XXXX. Take care to input data as indicated, or the form will send you back to fix mistakes.

Don’t you already have this information?

We ask for most of this information every year in our paper forms. However, inputting data from thousands of paper forms each year leads to inevitable errors. With the online form, you can help us correct those errors so that we can better communicate with your family.

Here's some good news: next year, you’ll only have to review and confirm your data. Thanks for taking the time to update your information this year so we can ALL save time in the future!

Online Registration for New Students

Families can register new students using our online registration form. The new form provides step-by-step instructions and the ability to save your progress and return when you are ready.

Families new to our district can create a new account to get started.

If you have already registered a student online, sign into your Registration account to enroll another student.
