How do I set my non-work days in Frontline?

From your Home page, go to your Non-Work Days tab and select the “Add Non-Work Day” button.

You can select a single date, a date range, or repeat a day of the week.

DO NOT place yourself as unavailable if you have prearranged with someone. They will not be able to see you as available to assign you to their job.

 

If I am assigned (Prearranged) to a job, do I need to do anything?

Yes.  You will see a pop-up message when you log in to Frontline informing you that you have been assigned to a job. Select Next and then Confirm.

 

Will I be notified if a job changes?

Yes, you will be notified by phone, email, and on the web when you log in.  Note that if you chose to turn calling off, you will not be notified of any changes via the phone.

 

I don’t see all of my jobs that were in Substitute Online, will they be transferred?

Yes.  We are still working on transferring jobs from Substitute Online.

 

Will I be able to run my hours report from Substitute Online so I can track my maximum hours for this year?       

Yes.  Please run your reports from 9/1/2019 – 1/31/2020 as soon as you are able.

 

How do I see my work history in Frontline?

The past 30 days can be seen from your home on the “Past Jobs” tab

On the History tab you can see greater date ranges or select a custom range.

 

I am a custodial, food service, or transportation sub.  Should I be using the system?

Not yet.  We will let you know when to start using the system to check for jobs.

Will I hear a “gong”, like in Substitute Online?

No, you will not

 

Can I stay logged in and just keep checking for jobs?

Yes, however, note that it will time out after a period of inactivity and you will be asked to sign-in again

 

How do I see a description for the job?

Employees will be attaching files such as schedules or lesson plans and/or enter notes to the subs. 

To view them, click on the “paper clip” or the “notes” icons next to the job.

 

Is there a mobile app for subs?

Yes.  You can search for “jobulator” in your app store.  There is a monthly or annual fee for the app.

If you do not want to purchase the app, bookmark www.aesoponline.com on your phone.  The mobile site works very well.

 

I rejected a job on the phone, but I changed my mind.  I logged in and didn’t see the job. What does this mean?

You will not see any jobs that you reject. The sub office can make this change for you on a limited basis.

 

I have some technical questions, can the sub desk help?

Maybe. It depends on your question.  There is a complete reference guide from Frontline.

I hear that Frontline has a Resource Library.  Do subs have access to it?

Yes. Select the resource library under your navigation tool bar and browse topics
